Jason Plank, MBA, CFP® currently serves on the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the principal membership organization for CFP® professionals and those who support the financial planning process.

Plank is a Private Wealth Advisor with Ameriprise Financial in Edina, MN where he provides personalized financial planning and wealth management. Named as Forbes America's Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors in 2018, he has more than 17 years of experience in working with those in the medical profession and with those who hold leadership roles on planning to achieve their goals. 

Plank has held various national and local volunteer leadership roles in the Association since becoming a member in 2006. Most recently, he served nationally on the FPA Member Advocacy Council (MAC), the OneFPA Advisory Council and as past chair of the FPA Alliance Forum. He served locally on the FPA of Minnesota board of directors for five years (including past president) and has volunteered on various FPA of Minnesota committees over the years. With a passion for helping others, he also volunteers his time to assist Minnesota students learn financial literacy and career skills as a board member and speaker with non-profit BestPrep.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Plank received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration, Economics and Finance from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN where he also earned a Master of Business Administration.
